Shooting of HINITHUNVELAASHEY KALAA has begun in Ha KELAI. Cast and crew went there on 23 April 2006. Abdul Fatthaah already have 10 completed episodes to shoot.

i have finished writing 9 episodes of the 52 episodes serial HINITHUNVELAASHEY KALAA set to be directed by Abdul Fatthaah under his own company, RED Productions. the story follows the ups and downs of two childhood friends (girls)  living in an island. The first 32 episodes will be set in this island centering mostly around these two girl and the island folks living around them.

Last night TVM aired the 13 episode serial I wrote for director Abdul Fatthaah. The serial named ‘KURAMEY VADHAA’EE SALAAM’ is scheduled to be shown every Sunday night at 2130 hrs. Mohamed Manik, Zuhura, Jimmy, Saeed and Hajja lead the serial set on an old fashioned storyline with a modern re-telling.

B/W Production is planning to produce untitled children’s fantasy movie. Mohamed Shareef is set to direct the project. Preproduction discussions has started between Shareef and myself. Casting will kick start once a budget is worked out. However, we are in talks with several child actors for audition. We are hoping one of the principal actors of the movie to be a superstar from the singing arena.

B/W Production has acquired the children’s fantasy screeplay from director Abdul Fatthaah. I wrote the screenplay for him on his request to make a children’s short film with Apollo Entertainments. Since Apollo Entertainments failed to green light the production and settle the payment for the screenplay, Fatthaah shelved it along with the two of its songs which he has completed recording. B/W is in agreement with Fatthaah to pay for the two songs.

Local film director Abdul Fatthah is in talks with me on writing a 52 episodes serial for TVM. A plot line has been drawn which i am presently structuring. He wants 30 of the episodes to be set in an island.

On 9th May, 2006 we (B/W Productions) approached two possible producers to finance our untitled film. Both producers are showing interest and wanted to set a meeting to talk on the budget.
