About

Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
Congratulations, you’ve stumbled upon my blog—possibly on purpose, but hey, accidental clicks count too! Either way, you’re here now, so buckle up because we’re about to take a ride through the thrilling, mildly chaotic, and sometimes hilariously tragic landscape of my brain.
Let’s set the stage: I’ve been neck-deep in screenwriting since 1996 (yes, before Netflix binges were even a thing). I’ve snagged a couple of shiny national awards, so don’t be surprised if I casually toot my own horn here and there. It’s all in good fun—and hey, if you wrote dialogue that made people laugh, cry, or awkwardly shuffle in their seats, you’d brag a little too.
But screenwriting isn’t my only jam. I’ve also dabbled in directing and producing films. Fun fact: my debut as a producer was a historic moment in Dhivehi cinema. It was critically acclaimed and a colossal commercial flop. Yep, the kind of flop that doesn’t just fail quietly—it echoes. But hey, somebody had to pave the way for spectacular fails, right? You’re welcome, future filmmakers.
Now, a quick disclaimer: everything you read here is just my humble opinion (and sometimes my not-so-humble one). Opinions evolve, just like hairstyles and Wi-Fi speeds. So if I change my mind, rest assured I’ll circle back with an updated post because, let’s face it, consistency is overrated.
Thank you for dropping by, and I hope you enjoy reading these ramblings as much as I enjoy writing them. Leave a comment, share your thoughts, or just say hi—I’ll probably reply (unless I’m busy pretending to write my next screenplay).
Stay awesome, stay curious, and remember, life’s a first draft—so keep rewriting!
